PKA Architects is an award winning expert team of architects with a passion for buildings of character, constructed to the highest standards of design, materials and finish. Established in in 1988 and operating from a Zero-Carbon office in the Wiltshire countryside, we have considerable experience designing and running projects in Practice. Our small yet dedicated team enables the Practice to devote personal attention to all projects throughout the design process.

Our aim is to help our clients achieve their aspirations with sound guidance, design flair and care for the environment. Every project inevitably throws up new and interesting challenges, and we pride ourselves on our ability to unlock the potential of a given building or site and generate creative and sustainable solutions that meet our clients requirements without any predetermined stylistic responses.

We believe in sustainable, low impact buildings. Natural, local and breathable materials are our preference wherever possible, as well as high levels of insulation to minimise heating costs and environmental impact.

We undertake all private sector building types, but have become particularly known for housing (both individual and development), conservation work, equestrian design and small commercial projects across the South of England and beyond.
